LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, has launched the #InItTogether brand campaign to highlight how the strength of community is aiding professionals in staying productive and relevant during these uncertain times. Drawing inspiration from India’s diverse pool of over 66 million LinkedIn members, the campaign showcases real stories from professionals at various career stages. These stories demonstrate how individuals are adapting, innovating, and relying on their networks to thrive in the evolving world of work.
LinkedIn’s Network Gap data indicates that individuals with robust professional networks are more confident about accessing opportunities compared to those with weaker connections. In the current climate, professionals are increasingly turning to the platform to seek guidance on navigating the challenges posed by the pandemic. Through the narratives of four actual members, the brand campaign underscores how they harnessed LinkedIn’s capabilities to connect with others, acquire new skills, engage in meaningful conversations, and gather insights relevant to today’s circumstances.
Srividya Gopani, Director – Brand and Consumer Marketing, APAC and China at LinkedIn, expresses enthusiasm for the diverse professionals from various fields who have come together to inspire each other with personal anecdotes and professional advice on LinkedIn. She emphasizes that the campaign, featuring these four stories, underscores the power of “community” and aims to instill confidence in members that LinkedIn can support them in their professional journeys during these uncertain times. The hope is that these member stories will motivate professionals to acquire the necessary expertise, relevant skills, knowledge, and connections in the current environment.
The campaign features four members who turned to LinkedIn to forge new connections, enhance their skillsets, and access valuable information to navigate the changing economic landscape:
1. Sanchit Agarwal, Summer Analyst at Windrose Capital:
Sanchit, in search of virtual internships during the lockdown, stumbled upon Rohit Goyal’s post, which ultimately led to him securing a summer internship program.
2. Jagruthi Chalapathy, Senior Product Associate at Amazon:
